Over Paid; Over Worshiped
Have any of you ever thought of the fact that we pay athletes, singers and actors way to much money, attention, and praise. I have nothing against anyone, (I personally love acting), but if we look at it seriously, do they need all of that money. I don't want to attempt to know how many children could be saved from Africa with a years wages of some of the people we worship. That is another thing. Admiering tallent is one thing, worshiping is a whole new ball park. It goes against one of the ten commandments, it is not a small issue, it is huge. Celebraties are no different from the rest of us, they just found their tallent (which God gave them) and used it to their own perposes. I can't say that for every celebraty, but I can for a lot of them, who deffinatly aren't God honouring. They are just like us, they are completely equal, and nothing worth worshiping, it is worshiping idols, not Gods, and that is plain out wrong.

The Passion of the Christ
The Passion of the Christ
but I finally decided to go on Good Friday, it just seemed so
fitting. I know that it is rated R, but it is something that is
very good for a believer to watch. It showed me what the
Bible means when it says the Christ loved us first. Also when
the Bible talks about being saved by his blood and healed
by His wounds. This movie is not just about the phisical part
of Christ's pain, it also talks about the spiritual battle that
Jesus went through. Jesus had never experianced sin, and so He had never been seperated from
His Father. When Jesus was afraid and crying for strength it was for the spiritual more than the
phisical. Even though it was painful for both parts Christ did it for us, because that's how
much He loved and cared for us. (It gives a completely different perspective to cummunion and
to Easter.) ~Jolayne~~~~~~~~~~
To Save A Life
I think that this is ultimatly the best movie that I ever watched.
I walked away inspiered.
To Save A Life
I never thought that I would want to watch a movie like this when I was younger, but it was amazing. I saw it in theaters desided that I am going to buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD. this movie deals with teen problems like suicide, sex, popularity, partying, and where God fits in all of it. I would recommend watching it for anyone ages 14 and older. This movie deals with issues that many people are sturggling with. The message that the movie is trying to send, is that you don't know how much of a differance you can make until you try. It focuses a lot on the small things that you can do, like saying hi to someone at school, or smiling at someone in the mall. To Save A Life is a movie that is worth you time, money, attention and a lot of deap thought.

naturous wonders
The wonders of nature are something that I marvel at.
All of the intricate designs, textures, colors, and patterns.
It is one reminder that I could never understand my Maker.
On the lawn, barefoot, I feel as if God gives me a sampeling of paradise.
Smelling the freshness of spring and the feeling the crispness of the morning I am energiesed.
There is no way that I could ever hope to fully and accurately discribe the wonders God created.
From the sunsets to the thunder storms we as humans get more than we deserve.
